Marietta Main Street Announces Annual Award Nominees

Once a year, we take time to uplift and celebrate area leaders, volunteers, business owners, and property owners who have positively contributed to downtown Marietta. We invite folks from across the Marietta community to nominate individuals, groups, and/or businesses who they feel are worthy of this year's award categories.
The top three nominees in most categories will be celebrated and the award winners will be recognized during our Annual Celebration, our spin on an annual meeting, being held Thursday, October 19th starting at 5:30pm at the Adelphia Music Hall in downtown Marietta, Ohio.

Building Improvement Award To be awarded to a building/business owner with the most improved façade or strongest building development project.

Downtown First Friday events take place the first Friday of every month from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. January through December. Highlights of these events include shops open late, local artists and musicians, area organizations, and various happenings tied into the theme of the First Friday.
This months sponsor is West Virginia University at Parkersburg (WVU-P).
Each First Friday is a celebration of our local community and an opportunity for locals, tourists, and area groups to show their support for our town, have fun, and enjoy the beauty of vibrant, historic downtown Marietta!
Plus, thanks to Artsbridge, United Way Alliance of the Mid-Ohio Valley, GoPacks and others, each First Friday features Kid Central on the lawn of the Armory with fun activities for kiddos to enjoy.
Theme description: This month's theme is Farm Fresh. There will be market vendors, square dancing, and tractors on Front Street.
2023 Annual Celebration Concert
Join us at the Adelphia Music Hall in Downtown Marietta on Thursday, October 19th and let DJ Correct take you back in time as he spins the last 10 years worth of hits. Tickets are $10 and all proceeds do directly to Marietta Main Street and their mission to bring people together to enjoy, enhance and preserve downtown Marietta.
